Peruzzi’s new album ”Rum and Boogie” displaces Made In Lagos to peak at Number 1 on Apple Music in less than 12 hours
Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh has secured the top spot on Apple Music albums on the same day he dropped his latest project, Rum and Boogie.
For months, the DMW music act has been keeping fans in the wait after announcing in 2019 that he would be dropping a new album.
Well, Peruzzi finally released Rum & Boogie in the early hours of today, April 9, 2021, and in less than 12 hours it peaked at number 1 on Apple Music albums, displacing Wizkid’s Made in Lagos.
He had earlier taken to his Instagram page to announce the release of the 20-tracklist project with the caption;
”For God So Loved The World, That He Gave His Only Begotten Son…. You Know The Rest.. My Second Album RUM & BOOGIE OUT NOW!!!!!!! FEAST !!!!!!!
The ”Majesty” hitmaker has now taken to social media to react after landing the top spot on Apple Music.
